Technical Positions:

LOCATION:

We’re looking for a CTO to join our executive team and oversee Third Summit’s short- and long-term digital strategy, and providing high-level, forward-thinking vision. The CTO will work across all key departments to attain the company’s strategic goals, including setting business requirements, assessing and improving application architecture and ensuring the implementation of market-leading design. They will communicate with staff, executives and customers to ensure the company’s technologies are used appropriately and optimally. The ideal candidate is a technical leader with demonstrable expertise in leading and managing the creation of first-in-class high-traffic digital products.

Responsibilities
-Oversee the design and implementation of infrastructure to support the company’s strategic and operational initiatives
-Contribute to internal tools to improve the company’s internal reporting and communication
-Identify and raise technical risks
-Collaborate with product owners and managers to evolve cloud and product strategies
-Remove roadblocks for team members, both technical and otherwise
-Write job descriptions and work with recruiters, tech leads and the engineering director to hire engineers
-Manage goal-setting, motivation and performance management for individual engineers
-Work with product managers and other leaders to ensure teams and projects are staffed appropriately
-Have regular one-on-ones with individuals on the team to understand pain points and facilitate communication

Essential Skills & Experience
-Proven expertise in building large-scale web applications and distributed systems
-Experience steering third-party partners/vendors
-Understanding of DevOps and cloud-based infrastructure deployments
-Capable of collaborating with stakeholders and project leaders to understand requirements and deliverables, while setting expectations for tasks you will be responsible for

We’re looking for an executive to build out our internal payments team and help execute on Third Summit’s short- and long-term digital payments strategy. Reporting directly to the president of our payments division, you’ll be joining a small but enthusiastic and growing team that is trying to revolutionize the production freelance market and workflow. The ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and deals professionally with the entire business to meet goals.

Responsibilities

-Build and execute payments initiatives under tight deadlines in a startup environment
-Help manage ground-level account debtor and freelancer relationships
-Foster relationships with banks, a syndicated credit facility and 10–20 major or mid-market U.S. media enterprises
-Evaluate, monitor and enhance payments operating controls
-Seek out operational efficiencies via automation, technology enhancements and process improvements
-Help produce and review with senior management daily and monthly reporting for forecast variance, operational excellence metrics and key risk indicators

This is an exciting ground-floor opportunity for a talented Customer Success Specialist to work directly alongside the founders of a well-funded, early-stage startup. Reporting directly to the COO, and based in our New York City office, the Customer Success Specialist will be fundamental to the launch of Third Summit products and our client experience.

Role Purposes
-Interacting with Third Summit users, responding to product and service inquiries, and handling and resolving complaints.
-Onboarding and training client users on Third Summit solutions to ensure a positive experience and client retention.
-Documenting and providing useful user feedback to design and product teams in order to address complaints and improve the product.

Responsibilities
-Confer with users by telephone, email, chat and occasionally in-person to provide information about products or services, or obtain details of user experience issues or complaints
-Ensure appropriate changes were made to resolve customers’ problems
-Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints or comments, as well as actions taken
-Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation
-Interact with product design/engineering team to provide user feedback, and escalate user experience issues

-Previous experience in a client success role

This is an exciting ground-floor opportunity for a talented Corporate Sales & Business Development Professional to work directly alongside the founders of a well-funded, early-stage startup. Reporting directly to the COO, this individual would be focused on business development channels via agencies and production companies.

Role Purposes
-Driving and delivering sales via agencies and production companies.
-Building awareness of Third Summit products.

Responsibilities
-Visit establishments to evaluate needs or to promote product or service sales
-Sell service contracts by building a pipeline
-Negotiate prices, terms of sales and service agreements
-Prepare and submit sales contracts for orders
-Maintain customer records using automated systems

Essential Skills & Experience
-Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field
-Proven sales track record and experience, preferably for a SaaS or related online provider
-Deep knowledge of marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques and sales control systems
-Methodical approach to building a pipeline, showing, promoting and selling products or services to generate sales outcomes
-Understanding of best-practice sales strategies
-Experience, contacts and network within the video production ecosystem

Responsibilities

-Process payroll information
